| Objectives of the project: I. Establish 3 handloom service centres in loom intensive areas to render yarn and cloth dyeing, mercerizing, singing, sizing, calendering, stentering, folding and other related pre & post weaving services. II. Render pre & post services to nearly 2.00 lakh handlooms in the project areas. III. Help to produce standard and better quality handloom fabrics by the weavers. IV. Decrease in rejection rate by way of increasing efficiency of the newly setup machineries and equipments. |
